A day for chocolates,
red roses, red wrapping,
and overflowing hearts
A day for opening mail
for those set apart
when only written words will do
A day for phone calls,
also for those apart
where miles separate the two
A day for hopes
for prayers, wishes,
and blessings
A day for renewals,
makeups filled with awe,
and memroable declarations
A day for "I do",
first kisses, honeymoons,
and years to come
A day for lovers,
reminiscent-lovers, future-lovers,
and for those like you and me,
lost in between the definitions of it all
A day for me
to wish upon you
a love-filled Valentine's Day
